    The goal of this program was to provide the community and families with options for increased physical activity and improved selection of low fat, high fiber foods.

    Angel Flight West provides free, private air transportation for people with medical and other needs.
  • EMS Co-op Helps Rural Providers
    Using the power of group purchasing within a cooperative structure, the North Central EMS Cooperative (NCEMSC) is an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) cooperative developed to serve Minnesota and surrounding states.
  • Kaibeto Health Services
    Grant funds established a school-based frontier primary care clinic, offered training to local first-response units and began programs to promote increased physical activity and better nutrition to the poverty stricken Navaho population base.
  • Santa Cruz Collaborative Diabetes Project
    The primary goal of the project was to increase awareness of diabetes, provide education in effective self-management, and give the support necessary to achieve behavior change to this mostly Hispanic population.
